Burningman 2006

And So It Begins.

Theme:
Undecided.

The Setup:
10-15 people.
Black Rock City.

The Method:
Improvisation.

The Players:
Sam -> Taking over for Andrew this year as the Crux of the Biscuit.
Bill -> Treasury. I'll try to fill Monica's shoes, but it'll be tough.
Joel -> Newcomer, Vegan, Maestro of all things Edible.
Claudia -> Veteran Burningman Point Person. She's making sure we actually have a campsite.

Logistics:
1 -> We have no rendezvous point. We need to find a place we can gather and get everything together.

2 -> Shade: We are going to do our traditional parachute and scaffolding system. Sam and Bill are going to be taking care of this.

3 -> Truck: Renting one from wherever we decide is going to be home base.

4 -> Power: Generator or Battery? Who was that guy who did the whole battery thing?

5 -> Food: Gas and charcoal grill, tupperware, and prepared food. All vegan. If you want meat and dairy, bring it yourself. Bring your own snacks, but we're going to try and have much more communal food this year. It's cheaper, in the long run, better food, and cleaner. If you want to bring your own food, I suggest pre-cooking it, and bringing it in tupperware containers.

6 -> Water: Same deal as usual. Square Water Bottles, 2 gallons/person/day.

7 -> Lemonade: We're pretty good at this by now.

8 -> Bikes: We're going to have to rethink this. Apparently last year didn't work out so well. Maybe get bikes in NYC and ship them, or buy children's bikes from walmart: $40 each.

9 -> Camp Dust Masks. We're going to get a bunch.

10 -> EL wire. Might get some for the camp. We'll see.

The Loot:
Camp Fee is probably going to be something like $200, with the idea that we'll refund as much as possible. We're going to try to keep the costs below $150/person. This is so we don't have to ask people to put in more money after the fact to cover costs. It's much easier to give people money back.
